WMU Circle
May's Service Project
For May, WMU is collecting for the Bottles for Babies project benefiting Avenues for Women. Take a baby bottle home and fill it up with change, cash, or checks and help EBC continue our vital ministry sharing the Gospel and enabling women to choose life for their unborn child. Filled bottles need to be turned in by June 18.
Adult Discipleship Classes
EBC has something new to offer on Sunday afternoons. Starting April 23 we have three discipleship classes you can attend. They are Contentment (starts at 4pm), Other Religions and How to Share with Them (5pm), and Financial Peace (starts at 6pm). To better prepare for the classes we ask that those interested in attending to please sign up on the sign up sheet located in the back foyer. You can attend as many as you want.
Wednesday Night Fellowship Meals
The 5pm Wednesday meals have temporarily ended until September to give the Cooking Committee a well deserved break For more information, please contact Dawn Harrod.
In Home Communion
The Lord's Supper celebrates the gift of Christ and the unity of the church. A Home Communion visit allows those that are unable to attend in-person to still be a part of the gathered congregation in a worshipful experience. This pastoral ministry can be scheduled by contacting Pastor Ricky, a Deacon, or by calling the church office.
EBC Food Pantry & Blessing Box
The Food Pantry distributes food to those who are having difficulty buying enough food to avoid hunger within our church and community. Help is always needed to help stock the pantry. Donation needs include: non-perishable canned foods (meats, veggies, fruits, and soups) and powdered milk.
The church also has a Blessing Box in the back of the church parking lot that is available to the community and church members in need. Donation needs include: non-perishable canned foods, pastas, peanut butter and crackers. Please ensure donations are in weatherproof packaging.
Inclement Weather Policy & Church Closings
To know if the church is closed or cancelled, please check your email, Lexington News WKYT, One Call Now, or the EBC Facebook page for the latest cancellation notifications.
