Terry grew up in Lexington and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Southern Seminary. Terry's hope for the worshiping church is to experience the joy of song that Paul speaks of in Ephesians 5:18 "...Sing and make music in your heart for the Lord."
Terry has a daughter, Alana Claire.
Minister of Youth
Warren joined Evergreen Baptist Church in May 2016, along with his wife, Kim when he was called to serve as youth minister. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Ministries from Campbellsville University where he graduated in 2013. Warren has a passion for teaching the Gospel to middle and high school students, and strives to see them grow in their faith and walk with God. He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Kim is also a graduate of Campbellsville University with a double major in History and Theater. Warren and Kim were married in September 2013, and have spent their marriage ministering to students.
Minister to Children
Michelle officially joined the staff of Evergreen Baptist Church as Children's Minister in April 2017 after serving unofficially in that capacity for a number of months. Michelle holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Xavier University and has served in a number of different ministry capacities through Campus Crusade for Christ as well as in inner-city missions. Her desire is to minister effectively to children and their families in order to teach them core Biblical truths, reach families in our community with the good news of Jesus Christ, and raise up the next generation at Evergreen Baptist Church to walk faithfully with the Lord for life.
Michelle is married to Pastor Ricky, and they have four beautiful children: Isaac, Emma, Josiah, and Micah.
Judy has served as the Church Secretary at Evergreen since February 2013. She is a retiree from VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She previously worked at Crestwood Baptist Church as their Financial Secretary for 13 years.
Judy has two daughters and 4 grandchildren. She has lived most of her life in Frankfort.
Kari has been the pianist at Evergreen Baptist Church for 6 years, and has been playing the piano for 31 years. She works as a special education teacher at Collins Lane Elementary School. Kari is married to her husband Adam, also a school teacher, and they have two wonderful children James and Rebekah.
Kari feels blessed to work with a wonderful organist and music minister each week and be surrounded by a loving church family
Barbara has been married to Blake Mitchell for over 60 years and they have been blessed with two sons, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Barbara has been a member at Evergreen since 1953 and has played either the piano or organ since 1958, with a leave of absence of a couple of years. Their hobbies have changed over the years. Mostly now they enjoy taking rides through unknown parts of Kentucky and basically enjoying their family.
